Summer may be around the corner, but that isn’t stopping Jack Freeman from turning up the heat. The R&B newcomer has joined forces with Jagged Edge for a remix of his bedroom banger “U N D R E S S.”
The Bryan-Michael Cox production features added background vocals from Jagged Edge plus a new verse. In an age where remixes can be wishy-washy, “U N D R E S S (Remix)” hits in all the right spots.
Speaking on his collaboration with the legendary R&B group, Freeman tells Rated R&B: “I grew up listening to Jagged Edge, so having the pleasure to work with a group with such an amazing repertoire was an honor. Receiving recognition and respect for my talents, enough to want to be a part of what Bryan-Michael Cox and I are doing, feels incredible.”

The original version of “U N D R E S S” appears on the Houston singer’s latest album, Nina, released in February. “‘U N D R E S S’ is about the intense visualization of wanting to strip your significant other down and appreciate them in their most bare, most vulnerable and most beautiful form,” Freeman told Rated R&B.
Regarding his album, he explained, “Nina is an idea. She’s a symbol of your greatest loves, your biggest heartbreak, and everything in between,” Freeman shared in a social media post. “You’re gonna walk away refreshed that we did our part to contribute such well-done work to this thing we call R&B.”
