THEY., the R&B duo consisting of Drew Love and Dante Jones, is back with their new single “Diamonds And Pearls.” It’s their first release on drink sum wtr.
Over a velvety bassline, Love sings: “Be my addiction, material girl / Wrapped ’round my finger like diamonds and pearls / Hit all your buttons with no strings attached / Make you wanna run it back.”
“This is our first release since our last album, and I feel like it sets the tone for what’s to come from THEY,” says Love and Jones.
“We started teasing a snippet of the hook last year, and it got a great response from our fans; we hadn’t even written the verse yet. Excited to be finally releasing the full version.”
“Diamonds And Pearls” is the beginning of a new era for the singer-producer duo. In 2023, they released their third album, Nü Moon, which featured Kacey Musgraves, Yung Bleu, blackbear, Fana Hues, Bino Rideaux, and ADÉ.
“This is our most introspective album to date,” THEY. said. “We really wanted to make something that felt personal and also reflective of our thoughts and trials we go through at this stage in our lives.”
