Genre-bending artist Tink has returned with her new album, Winter’s Diary 5, via EMPIRE. It’s the fifth installment of her mixtape series that began in 2012.
Winter’s Diary 5 was preceded by the singles “Charged Up,” “Huh” and “Songs About U” featuring Summer Walker. The 16-track set includes additional features from Jeremih, Janine, Skilla Baby, and NoCap.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the Chicago native expressed what her new album means to her. “If you know my story, you know I never had it easy in this industry. I seen a lot of people go against me … turn they back … play with my name etc… but no matter what – my supporters have NEVER left my side,” Tink wrote.
“This album is for US. If you’ve ever been through a struggle. A heartbreak .. Told you wasn’t worthy – let this be a sign to never stop. I fought so hard to get this album out… and tbh I’m STILL fighting; everyday. So Thank you to EVERYONE listening.”
Winter’s Diary 5 is the follow-up to Tink’s 2023 album, Thanks 4 Nothing, which featured Ty Dolla $ign and Yung Bleu.
Tink is currently on the road supporting Jhené Aiko on The Magic Hour Tour. The North American trek has upcoming stops in Austin, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Diego.
