Chlöe is busy promoting her recently released sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise.
As part of the campaign, the Grammy-nominated singer teamed up with On The Radar Radio to perform her song “Temporarily Single.”
Wearing a flowy black top and rocking her hazel-colored faux locs, Chlöe performs a live version of a song produced by Bongo ByTheWay and UPNORTH, giving both familiar and unfamiliar listeners a reason to hit the replay button.
“Temporarily Single” is one of 16 tracks from Trouble in Paradise, which was released Aug. 9 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. Before its arrival, Chlöe issued two singles, including “FYS” and “Boy Bye.”
Trouble in Paradise features collaborations with her sister Halle Bailey, Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson .Paak, Jeremih, and YG Marley.
“This project is truly about writing away my troubles in paradise. The water and the brewing storm symbolize my emotions and how it changes like the weather,” explained Chlöe. “I wanted this project to feel fun, and even though there are ups and downs, it’s a fun, wild ride like a summer fling: unpredictable, exciting, and new.”
Trouble in Paradise, which Chlöe recorded in St. Lucia, is the follow-up to her 2023 debut, In Pieces. The latter album was featured on Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2023 list.
In other news, Chlöe will star in the upcoming film Goons, a horror flick set in New Orleans. The film, directed by Gerard McMurray, will also feature Michael Rainey Jr. from the Power universe.
There are no additional details available about Chlöe’s role or the release date of Goons.
