Music genius and icon Stevie Wonder has announced a set of upcoming tour dates dubbed Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart.

The 11-date tour, which kicks off Oct. 8 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, comes amid a critical election season and is a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.”

Wonder will play in New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, and more, before concluding Nov. 2 in Chicago at United Arena.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 20, at 12 p.m. local time. According to press materials, Wonder “will be offering a designated amount of complimentary tickets to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.”

Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart is produced by Wonder Productions and promoted by AEG Presents in partnership with Free Lunch.

Wonder’s tour announcement follows the release of his unifying anthem “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart.” Wonder’s first single in four years was released Aug. 30 via Republic Records.

In 2020, Wonder dropped two tracks: “Where Is Our Love Song” featuring Gary Clark Jr. and “Can’t Put It In The Hands of Fate” featuring Rapsody, Cordae, Chika, and Busta Rhymes.

The duo of songs was released via Wonder’s So What The Fuss Music in partnership with Republic Records/Universal Music Group.
