Kiana Ledé has officially launched a new era of music. The singer has announced her third album, Cut Ties, is on its way.
While no release date has been shared yet, Ledé has released the album’s first two singles: “Natural” and “Space and Pu**y.”
On the silky “Natural,” produced by Bizness Boi, Ledé coos about a deeply intimate connection in the bedroom with her partner.
“You can play with anything you want to / I don’t hesitate, I do it all with you / Feels natural, so natural / Love when you tell me how good it feels,” she sings in the chorus.
Regarding the track, Ledé notes, “‘Natural’ is a sensual song about the only person that gets to see the sexiest side of you. You will try anything with them because no matter what you do, it feels natural.”
On “Space and Pu**y,” co-produced by Boston & Pat and Joe Pepe, Ledé vents about a past romance in which the love and energy she poured into it were not reciprocated.
“I gave you space and pu**y / What a lucky m***erf*****r / Know just how to waste a good thing / On the shelf ’til the last minute / It’s OK, I’m only pissed ’cause I loved you / And I wanna believe that you wanting me meant more,” she sings in the chorus.
“‘Space and Pu**y’ is about the resentment I feel reflecting on how I gave so much to this person in a situationship. The sad fact is, I loved them and bent over backwards for them while they manipulated me into getting what they wanted,” Ledé explains.
Cut Ties will follow Ledé’s 2023 sophomore album, Grudges, her final release under Republic Records. The album was preceded by the singles “Irresponsible,” “Jealous” with Ella Mai and “Deeper.”

Speaking on “Jealous,” Ledé told Rated R&B, “I think the biggest thing I want listeners to take away from the song is that it’s OK to have those internal conversations, be vulnerable with yourself, and communicate it if you want to. It’s OK to have those moments of insecurity. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it is how you act when those insecurities come up.”
Grudges featured additional collaborations with Khalid (“Where You Go”) and Bryson Tiller (“Gone”).
Ledé supported her second album on her headlining Grudges Tour. This year, she joined Jhené Aiko on The Magic Hour Tour, which was recently extended with seven new dates.
The second leg, in which Ledé will embark on, begins Nov. 29 in Toronto. They will make stops in Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Raleigh, and more. The tour concludes Dec. 14 in Memphis at FedExForum.
