Tiana Major9 has returned with her new single “Alone,” her first solo release in two years.
On the track, written by Prince Charlez (Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Ella Mai), Tiana Major9 tells a painful story of unreciprocated love. In the end, she feels that they only way to move forward is by her lonesome.
“Used to think you were the cure / What’s the point in trying more? / Love don’t live in here no more, no more / I think I’m better off alone,” she sings in the chorus.
Speaking on her new single, Tiana Major9 notes, “‘Alone’ is such a vulnerable offering to the world, through the lyrics, my vocal performance. It feels like a re-introduction to Tiana Major9 and an exclusive look into the world of TM9.”

As indicated above, “Alone” is the British singer’s first single since 2022. That year, she released her Fool Me Once EP, which included “2 Seater” featuring Smino, “Try Peace…” and “On God!” The project was released under her previous record deal with Motown Records.
Since then, the now-independent singer has appeared on a few collaborative tracks, including Babyface’s “Say Less,” Joel Corry and Bryson Tiller‘s “What Would You Do? (R&B Remix),” “Homies” with Saint Harison, RAY BLK’s “Disaster,” and Elijah Blake‘s “Sugar Water & Lime Pt2,” among others.
