The 2025 North Sea Jazz Festival lineup has been announced.
The three-day event returns July 11-13 at Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It will feature artists from R&B, jazz, soul, pop, and more.
R&B stars Mary J. Blige and Maxwell are among the first wave of performers announced. Blige will perform on opening night (July 11) with additional sets by Jacob Collier, who’s this year’s artist in residence, Omah Lay, and Victor Ray, among others.
Maxwell will hit the stage on day two (July 12). Emerging alt-R&B singer Naomi Sharon and jazz sensation Samara Joy are also on the bill.
British R&B singer Jorja Smith will perform on day three (July 13), as well as a host of others. More artists will be announced at a later date.
Single-day tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. CET. Three-day tickets went on sale in November and are now sold out. Per the event’s organizers, the resale option for the festival tickets will be available from March 17.

Blige’s appearance at the North Sea Jazz Festival will come a few months after she wraps up her For My Fans Tour in April. The tour kicks off tonight (Jan. 30) in Greensboro, North Carolina. She will be joined by special guests Ne-Yo and Mario.
As for Maxwell, the neo-soul star will set sail on his Urban Hang Suite Cruise in February. The five-night voyage includes stops in the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, with Anthony Hamilton, Marsha Ambrosius, Lalah Hathaway, and more joining Maxwell for the journey.
