Jacquees and DeJ Loaf are keeping the momentum going with new music. The singer and melodic rapper have released their latest track, “Favorite One.”
On the Nash B production, Jacquees and DeJ Loaf portray love interests who connect in a way that they never have before. “Ain’t nobody gon’ do it how we do. / You know there’s no way around it / Me and you I’m thinking ’bout it,” Jacquees sings.
DeJ Loaf responds, “If we don’t keep it going it’s a lose, lose. / No matter how it goes, gotta do you / But I can’t help how I feel.”
“Favorite One” follows the duo’s single “Just Another Love Song,” released in December 2024. The track, also produced by Nash B, explores a budding romance between two friends.
Both songs are expected to appear on Jacquees and DeJ Loaf’s long-awaited F–k A Friendzone 2, the second installment of their 2017 mixtape. The latter project included their platinum-selling single “At The Club,” which reached No. 4 on Billboard’s R&B charts.
F–k A Friendzone 2 will follow Jacquees’ 2024 album, Baby Making. The featureless project included bedroom-friendly jams like “Touchdown” and “Middle of the Night.”
As for DeJ Loaf, she released her End of Summer project last fall. It included features from rappers Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Hunxho, Kash Doll and more.
