Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Raphael Saadiq has launched a vinyl club.

The Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club will give fans access to his decade-spanning catalog. According to press materials, “This exclusive membership allows fans to receive exclusive quarterly releases of Saadiq’s most celebrated albums.”

Up first is a vinyl reissue of Saadiq’s group Lucy Pearl’s self-titled lone album. The 2LP 180g vinyl, available in an opaque white pressing, will include the never-before-released track “Gonna Miss U.”

Additionally the vinyl, limited to only 300 pressings, will come in all new packing designed by Brian Randall.

“The very thing that got me started was vinyl. The vinyl club is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. This first vinyl is very important for me to release. I call it Lucy Pearl 2.0,” says Saadiq.

The reissue of Lucy Pearl aligns with the album’s milestone 25th anniversary in May. The trio consisting of Saadiq, Dawn Robinson, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, released their first and only album on May 23, 2000.

The album included their Grammy-nominated hit “Dance Tonight,” which received a nod for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal at the 43rd Grammy Awards. The smooth groove was a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Lucy Pearl, which also included “Don’t Mess With My Man,” was certified gold by the RIAA in August 2000 for selling over 500,000 copies.

This summer, Saadiq will reissue his second solo album, Ray Ray, on vinyl. The album was originally released in 2004 via his independent label Pookie Entertainment. It featured collaborations with both of his groups Tony! Toni! Toné! and Lucy Pearl, plus Babyface, Teedra Moses, and more.

Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club members will automatically receive all four vinyl releases throughout the year — and that’s not all.

“When you join the club you get merch, maybe a song, a download in the middle of the night,” says Saadiq. “Maybe I’ll drop something directly to you, access to private shows. We’re gonna be adding things to it all the time. It’s going to be new music, I’m not just gonna hold stuff in the studio. I’m gonna put stuff that I have in the vault.”

The launch of Saadiq’s vinyl club comes on the heels of winning Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammys for his contribution to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter.

He co-wrote and co-produced multiple tracks, including the No. 1 hit “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “16 Carriages,” “Ameriican Requiem” and “Bodyguard.” Before that, he teamed with Beyoncé to create the Grammy-winning “Cuff It” from her 2022 album, Renaissance.

In other news, Saadiq previously confirmed that Tony! Toni! Toné! is working on new music. In 2023, he told Vulture, “We definitely gonna do an album after this tour. We’re working on it as we speak, in all these rooms.”

Membership is now open for the Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club at raphaelsaadiqvinylclub.com.
