Raphael Saadiq has announced the dates for his No Bandwidth: One Man, One Night, Three Decades of Hits tour.
The one-man show kicks off Sept. 7 at Channel 24 in Sacramento. From there, Saadiq will visit Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit. The tour wraps up Oct. 14 in Nashville at the Laura Turner Concert Hall at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Presale tickets are available now, while general on-sale begins Friday (July 11) at 10 a.m. local time.
“I’ve always wanted to do a one-man show. I want to challenge myself,” says Saadiq. “My one-person show has three acts; I will be talking about my career, bringing a couple of instruments to express myself, singing my original music as well as covers of songs I wish I had written, and more. I want it to feel magical and like a Broadway show.”
Saadiq’s No Bandwidth Tour is an extension of his four sold-out shows this spring, which visited New York, Los Angeles and his hometown, Oakland.

Earlier this year, the legendary singer, songwriter and producer launched the Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club, granting fans special access to his decade-spanning catalog. “This exclusive membership allows fans to receive exclusive quarterly releases of Saadiq’s most celebrated albums,” the press release stated.
He opened the vinyl club with Lucy Pearl‘s self-titled lone album. “The very thing that got me started was vinyl,” Saadiq said. “The vinyl club is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. This first vinyl is very important for me to release. I call it Lucy Pearl 2.0.”
Saadiq also noted, “When you join the club, you get merch, maybe a song, a download in the middle of the night. Maybe I’ll drop something directly to you, access to private shows. We’re gonna be adding things to it all the time. It’s going to be new music, I’m not just gonna hold stuff in the studio. I’m gonna put stuff that I have in the vault.”
This month, members will receive Saadiq’s sophomore album, Ray Ray, released independently in 2004.
The album included standouts like “Blaxploitation,” plus features from Babyface, Teedra Moses and his groups, Tony! Toni! Toné! and Lucy Pearl.
