ROE isn’t holding back on her new song “Love You Now.”
Over a candle-lit production, she exhales a rush of desire to slip between the sheets with her lover. “C’mon, baby / Let me love you now / We should make love / While the fire’s burnin’ / Bless your body now,” she coos.
“‘Love You Now’ is about a moment of craving deep intimacy and connection with that special someone,” explains ROE. “It’s sensual, honest, and grounded in vulnerability — something I think a lot of us quietly desire but don’t always express.”
“Love You Now” is ROE’s third single of 2025. In May, she released the smooth bop “Stay.” Before that, in April, she returned the sultry “In My Skin.”

She explained, “‘In My Skin’ is about work/love life balance. It’s like, I’m really busy but it doesn’t affect how I feel about the connection — and the anticipation of being back in my person’s presence is heated.”
All three tracks will appear on ROE’s upcoming EP, Oakwood, described as “a deeply personal and genre-defining body of work that marks a powerful new chapter in her artistry.”
According to press materials, the project was inspired by ROE’s roots in Venice, California, and the Black history of the Oakwood neighborhood. Lyrically, it will explore themes of love, identity, freedom and empowerment.
Oakwood is the follow-up to ROE’s debut EP, My Way, released in 2021.
