As fans wait for Normani’s debut album, Dopamine, to drop on Friday (June 14), the R&B-pop star has unveiled the official tracklist.
Dopamine consists of 13 tracks, including the previously shared “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B, “1:59” featuring Gunna and “Candy Paint.”
The album also includes a feature from James Blake, who appears on “Tantrums,” which Normani expressed as one of her favorites.
“I feel like [Dopamine] embodies everything I wanted to say – it feels dominant, strong, assertive – but on the flipside, there are so many layers to it. You get the highs, the lows, the thrill of it all. And it’s a little toxic, too,” Normani told Dazed in a recent interview.
Circling back to the singles, both “1:59” and “Candy Paint” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard R&B Digital Song Sales chart. The latter song marked her fifth top 5 hit on the chart.
