Grammy-winning producer Camper has enlisted Ari Lennox and Jeremih for his new single “War.”
On the devotional track, Ari and Jeremih sing about their unwavering commitment to a significant other.
“I ain’t got time to lose with you / All I know is that I miss you / Bring grenades to your door / For your love I’ll go to / For your love I’ll go to war,” Jeremih sings.
Lennox sings, “I get goosebumps when you touch me / Pullin on my strings and triggers.”
Speaking on his new single, Camper tells Rated R&B, “It’s classic R&B the way that it’s supposed to be. It’s fresh and it’s fun.”‘
“War” is the second single from Camper’s upcoming album, Campilation. It follows his Tank and Syd-assisted smooth jam “I Need It.”
“This collaboration is a dream come true. It’s the first time that the three of us were able to work together and we got to create history,” Camper exclusively told Rated R&B. “We won by doing what we love to do – you can hear the passion in the song. Like Phil Jackson (ex-Chicago Bulls coach) would say, ‘It’s a triangle offense!'”

In an interview with Rated R&B, Camper discussed his upcoming compilation album. “I have all the R&B artists I love that’s my family on the album together. [The album is] like what DJ Khaled did with hip-hop, but this is R&B,” Camper shared.
Campilation is expected to also feature H.E.R., Brandy, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, Ne-Yo, and Jill Scott.
“I’m digging deep in R&B. This is volume one. I’m going to do more volumes because everybody else [is] going to feel like they [were] left out,” Camper told Rated R&B.
