Halle Bailey, a.k.a Halle, has announced her debut solo album, Love? or Something Like It.

The long-awaited project will release Oct. 24 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records.

The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter shared the news on Wednesday (Oct. 8) on social media. “‘love? or something like it’ — my debut album. a story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after. out 10/24. this one means everything to me,” Halle posted on Instagram to her 9.1 million followers.

The caption was accompanied by a 30-second teaser, showing Halle posing for the official cover art. “Once upon a time, there was a young girl that believed in love. She believed everyone belonged to someone soul for a song. All she ever wanted in life was to find the truest form of love. Was that ever possible? And here’s what happened,” she said in the clip.

Halle launched her solo debut era in 2023 with her empowering ballad “Angel.” Since then, she has released several tracks, including “In Your Hands,” “Because I Love You,” “Back and Forth,” and most recently, “Braveface.”

The latter song, which she co-wrote with RAYE, was released in June. “It’s reflective of the mindset I’ve been in, especially since having my baby. My mental has been everywhere,” Halle explained.

At this time, a tracklist for Love? or Something Like It has not been made available. Therefore, it’s not confirmed which previously shared tracks will make the final cut.

Halle’s solo album will arrive over two years after her sister Chlöe‘s debut, In Pieces. The duo, together known as Chloe x Halle, later collaborated on Chlöe’s 2024 sophomore album, Trouble In Paradise, on the standout “Want Me.”
