Q Parker, formerly of the R&B group 112, has announced his second solo album, Evolution of Romance, Vol. 1.
The project is set to release on Nov. 14 via his label, Paramount Collective Ventures, in partnership with ONErpm.
Speaking on his new album, Parker notes, “As an artist, I have always been a fan of romance and what it communicates to the person you love or are interested in. When I set out on this solo journey, I was looking for a space to occupy, a lane that I could own, and it occurred to me that we (R&B singers) haven’t been paying the right kind of attention to the ladies for a while.”
He continues, “I want this project to be a conversation between men and women about affection, courtship, support, love and all the things that true romance encompasses. I have become a ‘Romance Dealer’ and I’m serving it up on a silver platter.”

The 11-track album will include the singles “BEG,” “Keep on Lovin’” and the newly shared “fff.” On the latter track, released Oct. 24, Parker embraces being a provider for his woman — and proudly spoiling her in every way possible — while only wanting three things: “F**k me, feed me, be a fan of me,” he sings.
Parker launched his Evolution of Romance Era with the Blac Elvis-produced “BEG,” released in August 2024. “We are in the BEGging season! Beg! Not because you did anything wrong, but just because you care, you love ’em, you value them, and do it every day,” Parker told Rated R&B of the song’s inspiration.
By November, “BEG” climbed to the top 10 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, earning Parker his first solo top 10 hit.
Earlier this spring, Parker returned with “Keep on Lovin’” featuring Rico Love and Dondria. “This record is a love letter to the music that raised me, the love I’ve lived, and the timeless feeling we all chase,” Parker shared. “Working with Ghost Kid and Rico Love, and paying homage to a song as iconic as ‘Two Occasions,’ makes this release incredibly special to me.”
Evolution of Romance, Vol. 1 is the follow-up to Parker’s debut solo album, The MANual (2012).
