Electronic music duo Disclosure has enlisted alt-R&B star Leon Thomas for their new song “Deeper.”
Produced by Disclosure’s Guy Lawrence, “Deeper” moves to a propulsive beat that carries the urgency of Thomas’ yearning to be “lost in the void” with someone special. “No, it ain’t all of the noise / Leading me to your love / Only wanna hear your voice,” he sings.
Regarding their new track, Disclosure shares, “‘Deeper’ with the great Leon Thomas. Wow what a year this man has had and rightfully so. So gassed to have him on this one – we reached out after we heard ‘Mutt’ and were delighted to find out he was a mutual fan of ours. We knew his voice was gonna slot in just perfectly over this beat. Probably played him 2 others that day but it was just obvious this one was meant to be.”
They continue, “Fun fact, the beat was named ‘Aquatic’ for the longest time.. guess because of the bubbly, underwater nature of the sounds used. So we just rolled with that theme for the lyrics & wrote the whole thing in an afternoon in LA. Leon is a beast in the studio, lyrically and production wise. It was a privilege to do this one together. Need to get some underwater headphones and get in the sea for this one.”

“Deeper” follows Disclosure’s “one2three” with Chris Lake and Leven Kali, released in September. Before that, in August, they released “NO CAP” with Anderson .Paak.
“Creating something with Andy has been a long time coming!” said Disclosure. “We first met at our show at Forrest Hills in NYC back in 2015 and have been fans of his for even longer. The time finally felt right and the right song appeared. He’s one of the most talented musicians we have ever worked with and we can’t wait for you all to hear this one and perform it live together soon.”
“NO CAP” is nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 2026 Grammy Awards. At the same ceremony, Thomas is up for six awards, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year for MUTT. He is the most-nominated R&B artist at the 68th Grammys.
“Deeper” arrives amid Thomas’ sold-out Mutts Don’t Heel World Tour, which wraps up in April 2026. Before launching the tour, Thomas dropped his PHOLKS EP.
Aside from seeing success from his breakout single “Mutt” — a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 — and his sophomore album, Thomas has been on an incredible features run in 2025. Since joining Coco Jones on her “Here We Go (Uh Oh) [Remix]” in January, Thomas has collaborated with Annie Tracy (“Catching Feelings”), Odeal (“Miami”), Sasha Keable (“Move It Along“), Venna (“Twisting”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Mixed Emotions”), YG (“Lovers or Friends”), Aminé (“New Flower!”), 4batz (“Act XI: She Ain’t No Angel”) and Wale (“Watching Us“).
