Rap isn’t the only genre Young Money has on its roster. R&B artist Shanell releases a new visual from the label for her track, “Boy Stop Playin’.”
Being behind the scenes dancing and penning songs for other artists, Shanell takes a step from behind the curtain once again and feeds us with more music. From her fourth mixtape, “Midnight Mimosas,” Shanell releases a long-awaited three-minute visual for her latest track “Boy Stop Playin’.”
The black and white visual shows a day in the life of the hard-working entertainer as she travels doing interviews, rehearsals, shows and studio time. Despite the long work day, she still finds herself grabbing her phone just to stay in touch with her lover. Shanell and director Hdotross keep it simple, short and sweet while still conveying the emotional strain of love on the road.
Shanell releases this video as she preps for her forthcoming EP “Nobody’s Bitch 2.” Shanell will also be featured on Young Money’s upcoming compilation album, “Young Money: Rise of an Empire,” due in stores March 11.
