Estelle brought out the grown and the sexy out on Monday night at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. The London native headlined her intimate concert An Evening of True Romance with Estelle at the historic venue in support of her forthcoming album True Romance.

The show began roughly around 8:30 p.m. after DJ Quicksilva got the audience hype with some throwback jams. Estelle gracefully walked on stage donning laced thigh-high boots, black pants and a black blazer with a white shirt underneath.

The show was broken up in four parts — The Courage, The Passion, The Bullshit and True Romance — which mimics for the format of her upcoming album. The Grammy winner kicked off her set with “Time After Time” before singing her new inspirational single “Conqueror.”

During The Passion segment of the show, Estelle turned her show into a big party. She had the entire audience on their feet — literally. She performed and two-stepped to some of her uptempo songs including “Something Good” from True Romance, “Freak,” “Make Her Say (Beat It Up)” and “Come Over.” She also sang her new track “Time Share” from True Romance.

Estelle began The Bullshit segment with her new song “The Same” off her new album. She revealed it was the first song she wrote for True Romance. Other songs performed include “Silly Girls,” “Break My Heart” and her fan-favorite track “Thank You.”

The True Romance segment was short and sweet. The English singer performed heartfelt songs off True Romance including “Gotcha Love” and “All That Matters.”

Estelle closed the show with an encore of her signature songs “American Boy” and “Do My Thing.”
