Anthony Hamilton gets sentimental about what love is in the visual for “Love Is An Angry Thing.” Directed by Everyday LaVan and Ramon Montgomery, a biker jacket and suit-donned Hamilton schools viewers on how love can feel hopeless after heartbreaks.
“Love is an angry thing / It’ll tear your heart to pieces / And love, such a crazy thing / It’ll break you down when you least expect it,” he sings.
“Love Is An Angry Thing” is lifted from Hamilton’s latest album, What I’m Feelin’, which released in March. “I was hungry and fearless,” Hamilton told Rated R&B in an interview about the making of the album. “I was dreaming such a big dream and walking in it at the same time. It was a beautiful experience.”
Yesterday, Hamilton announced his What I’m Feelin’ Tour with very special guests Eric Benet and Lalah Hathaway. The tour kicks off in October.
