When it comes to both K. Michelle and Chris Brown, they’re damned if they do, and damned if they don’t. What better fitting song than a “do you and f*ck the haters” type of jam from these R&B aficionados? That’s right: K. Michelle has dropped another single with Chris Brown called “Either Way.”
K bursts into the first verse with confidence, singing “Ass shots, real or fake / That ass gon’ jiggle, for ‘em anyway.” Chris comes back on the second verse with an equal amount of fire, singing “Paper trail, nigga oh well / Louboutin, shawty toe nails / I turn your bitch into a coat, yeah / I don’t give a fuck.”
This fun, potential club-banger wouldn’t be complete without a little rap from the Memphis singer herself. “Got a fetish for head in a Maserati / Gucci all up and down, that’s what’s on my body / Damn bruh, damn bruh, damn b*tch, b*tch / Steady talkin’ sh*t, when you don’t write your own hits?,” she spits.
Since she released the luscious “Birthday” last week, this makes “Either Way” the second offering from K. Michelle’s upcoming fourth studio album Kimberly: The People I Used to Know. Chris Brown is one of three features on the album, with the other two being singer Jeremih and rapper Yo Gotti, who K. Michelle enlisted for her third album More Issues Than Vogue.
