Avant reunites with his long-time collaborator Keke Wyatt for his new song “You and I.”The ballad, written by Avant, will appear on his seventh studio album, which is slated for an early 2013 release. Additionally, the song is scheduled to hit radio sometime in September. Take a listen below.
Avant and Wyatt definitely share great chemistry when they collaborate. “You and I” is a solid effort from the two singers and is proof that R&B is not dead.
According to sources, fans will get to see behind-the-scenes footage of Avant and Keke Wyatt in the studio recording this track on the sixth episode of “R&B Divas,” which airs October 1.
