In another week, India.Arie will release Worthy, her first album since 2017’s SongVersation: Medicine. Ahead of the LP, the Grammy winner has shared dates for a 2019 summer tour.
The string of Worthy shows will begin on April 30 at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville. Arie will bless stages in major cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans, Detroit, and Boston, before wrapping up the tour on June 9 in New York City at Beacon Theatre.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 8, 2019.
Prior to tour announcement, Arie has released two singles: “What If” and “That Magic.” The latter tune has reached the No. 6 position on both Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs chart and the urban adult contemporary radio format. Worthy, slated to arrive on February 15, is expected to be Arie’s most textured and lively work to date.
