Tamia is on her way to another chart-topper on urban adult contemporary radio. “It’s Yours,” the second single from her Passion Like Fire album, has bowed in top 10 on the urban AC chart with a total of 1,116 radio spins and over six million listeners.
Shortly after the release of her hot new album, Tamia topped the radio format with “Leave It Smokin.'” The blazing track eyed the number one spot on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for several weeks, but it couldn’t manage to light up to the top slot.
As “It’s Yours” increases in airplay, it could out peak its predecessor and become Tamia’s first hit since 2003’s “Officially Missing You” from her More album. Right now, the song stands at No. 10 on the Adult R&B Songs chart.
Tamia is heading to South Africa later this month to perform a trio of shows. The first show begins on February 22 at the Sun Arena.
