Shanice is plotting a comeback. The R&B vet has announced her new single “He Won’t,” produced by Jovan Dawkins, will arrive on March 15.
Shanice’s musical comeback is timed perfectly with Chris Brown’s hit single “Undecided,” which samples her 1991 hit “I Love Your Smile.” In a recent interview with Urban Bridgez, she praised Brown for flipping her feel-good anthem.
“I think he did a great job,” Shanice told Urban Bridgez. “I love what he did because it’s current but it still has that old school vibe. I love the melody they put on it, the track is banging. He nailed it. I think it’s so dope.”
“He Won’t” will be Shanice’s first song to release since 2016’s “Breakdown.” Her last album Every Woman Dreams dropped in 2006.
