It’s a Wild Wild West. Soon after releasing the funky visual for their single “Get Into the Party Life,” Lion Babe rides stagecoach to a “Western World” on their new record featuring rapper Raekwon.
On the slick jam, Jillian Hervey uses her warm and airy tones to provide directions and tips on how to survive in foreign territory. Raekwon serves an ultimate tour guide, rhyming about the bounty of options for nightlife in the West.
“Western World” is the latest offering from Lion Babe’s sophomore album Cosmic Wind. Due out on March 29, the album will feature previously released songs like “The Wave” that were created by the duo and their team of creatives.
“This album is in our vision to the fullest,” said Lion Babe to Rolling Stone. “We’ve brought on producers/artists/musicians who are good friends of ours and part of our core team, who’ve helped us take the music to the next level, embracing the sound we first began with.”
