On the release day of her Beauty Marks album, Ciara pulls her fans’ heartstrings with a tear-jerking video for the sentimental title track.
The self-directed video starts with Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson at the altar of their fairy tale wedding receiving blessings from the presiding official. Beyond the intimate nuptial footage, the singer takes us to the delivery room as she gives birth to her daughter Sienna, who is welcomed with sweet kisses and a doll by her older brother Future Jr.
The softhearted video also captures Ciara posing for a make-up free photo shoot.
“This video symbolizes how we can turn our scars into Beauty Marks, and there’s no greater feeling than turning your tears of sorrow into tears of joy,” wrote Ciara on Instagram.
Beauty Marks is now available everywhere. The 11-song album includes her certified gold single “Level Up” and features guest appearances from Kelly Rowland, Macklemore, and Tekno.
