Ro James Teases New Music With Surprise Track ‘Sunday Sex’

Ro James never needs permission to release new music. Known to randomly drop demos and unreleased tracks, he recently uploaded a new song called “Sunday Sex” on his SoundCloud page.

Sundays are usually reserved for religious purposes but the progressive crooner has some less than holy things in mind. James’ roughly sweet and silky vocals play perfectly against the mellow guitar-heavy production.

On a mission to get some quality time, he sings on the first verse, “Ridin’ in the ‘lac, with my top pulled back / Call my favorite girl, “Baby, where you at?” / I miss you and I’m coming over / Tell me that you miss me like I miss you baby / Kiss you on your neck, I know it drives you crazy / Yeah, you know you’re my one and only.”

James’ most recent official release was his last single “Excuse Me,” becoming his second top 10 single on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.

He revealed that new music will be released later this month through comments with a fan on Instagram. While James shared that the sound of his upcoming sophomore album will be a blend of genres including Blues and Reggae, we’re definitely looking forward to his next offering.

Lay back and listen to “Sunday Sex” below.
