Emmavie can’t seem to get a special someone off her mind on her new song titled “Distraction.”
Written, produced and arranged by Emmavie, “Distraction” is a rhythmic mid-tempo track that showcases a unique blend of electronic and R&B with a jazz undertone.
In a complete and utter daze on the first verse, she sings, “You came out of nowhere / The worst timing / I was fighting my way out here / But your forces blinded / I can’t understand it / Are you even from this planet? / No, I don’t understand it / I swear, you couldn’t have planned it.”
Earlier this month, she announced on Twitter that her debut album Honeymoon will release on August 22 via Fresh Selects Records.
