Got some Haterade? Emotional Oranges pours up a new track titled “Your Best Friend Is A Hater.”
Over a smooth production, the mysterious duo dismisses those negative friends who like to meddle in other people’s relationship.
“Your best friend is a hater / She thinks every guy is a player too / Know she gets pleasure tryna break us / I can’t change your mind if it’s made up too,” they sing on the chorus.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Emotional Oranges said, “Everyone has that hater ass friend who always has something negative to say. We were really inspired by Avant’s ‘Makin’ Good Love’ at the time and it felt like the perfect energy to build the track around.”
“Your Best Friend Is A Hater” will appear on Emotional Oranges’ upcoming project, The Juice Vol. II, which drops on November 8 via Avante Garden. It will follow The Juice Vol. I EP that dropped in May.
Emotional Oranges is currently on their nationwide tour and will be traveling overseas later in October. Their tour dates are available on their official website.
