After handing out samples from The Juice, mysterious R&B duo Emotional Oranges has released their first project in its entirety.
The certified organic project contains eight vitamin c-boosting tracks that will leave you wanting more. The EP opens with the anonymous duo’s debut single “Motion” before getting into more zesty jams like “Personal,” “Someone Else” and “Corners of My Mind.”
“This project is a culmination of nearly four years of work,” Emotional Oranges revealed in a statement. “It started as just a ridiculous idea in a 10 x 10 studio with a close friend and slowly developed into a collective of the best creatives we know. We made music and art that we wanted to hear and see and are grateful that so many people have connected to it.”
To the fans who are looking for a refill of The Juice, Emotional Oranges has confirmed a second installment is “already in the works.”
On May 20, the duo will launch their Chill Baby, Chill Tour in Toronto and will travel across the world, hitting major cities like New York, Paris and London.
Not much is known of the Los Angeles-based collective, but it has been speculated that when Adele’s vocal coach and Drake’s engineer met at a bat mitzvah in 2017, the band was instantly born.
