Tisha Campbell has returned with “22 Summers,” her first solo single since 2015’s viral hit “Steel Here.”
This breakup anthem relates to Campbell in a personal way, as the title hints at her 22-year marriage to actor Duane Martin.
She dusts herself off after coming through a failing relationship and promises to bounce back better than before.
Campbell pairs “22 Summers” with a simplistic yet powerful music video, which was co-directed by Dani’ Wright and Rosero McCoy.
We’re excited about Campbell’s newfound freedom. Hopefully, it pushes her to release more new music.
