Just when everyone was getting settled into #QuarantineLife, ever-unorthodox musician Childish Gambino has dropped his ominous 3.15.20 album.
Released as a surprise to Gambino’s website, the twelve-track LP’s rollout has taken the music industry by storm. It features appearances from rapper 21 Savage and pop musician Ariana Grande.
Each record on the album appears not as a title, but as a timestamp rounding out at a little under an hour-long. The LP is the first released since the Grammy Award-winner announced he was retiring his alter-ego.
While little details have been announced about the making of the LP, its inception has been a long time coming as the previously released “Feels Like Summer” appears as “42.26.”
3.15.20 is Gambino’s latest full-length album since 2016’s Awaken My Love.
