Rising R&B star Dijon is looking to answer one of life’s toughest questions on his new intimate EP titled How Do You Feel About Getting Married?.
The acoustically-driven, yet highly thrilling EP is co-written by Dijon, Jack Karaszewski and Henry Kwapis, and explores the phases of love through the eyes of the Baltimore native.
On the romantic “Alley-Oop,” Dijon paints a picture of what he and his lover’s life could look like even if he is not making them make a decision right away.
“Hey slim, how do you feel about getting married? / there’s something we don’t have to wait forever / And you don’t have to know the right answer,” he croons on the track.
On the energetic “Rock n Roll,” the singer-songwriter channels the late Prince, as he describes his partner’s disdain for the genre.
When announcing the EP on Twitter, Dijon described the project as “music from a wide palm to tide u over until something else comes out.”
