The R&B freshman’s brand new EP What’s Goin’ On? spotlights his smooth cadence against slow-building productions and romantic lyrics. The self-produced EP, which follows his 2018 Shift EP, includes three songs.
The title track opens the project, drawing you in with the sleek arrangement. As for the lyric itself, Gemaine blames his moment of weakness and disturbing text messages on the D’USSÉ and CIROC Peach. He released the official music video for the song. Watch it below.
Gemaine continues to beat himself up about his playboy ways on “Candy Rain.” He’s hopeful that the “sun around the corner.”
“Head Rush,” the final track, goes down an explicit lane of lovemaking.
