After stunning the world with her independent comeback, Tinashe is heating things up again with her remix to “Die A Little Bit” with Ms. Banks.
Produced and featuring an appearance by ZHU, “Die A Little Bit (Remix)” elevates the energy of the original to a club-ready banger as the Lexington, Kentucky native sings about living it up on the dance floor.
“Sometimes I can’t, but I’ve been told I need to breathe / This life ain’t something for someone like you and me / We just get caught up in the things that we don’t need / Plenty time wasted, what are we waitin’ for,” she croons as the track opens over an ambient setting.
The electrifying reimagine is the third in a series by Tinashe, following “Hopscotch (Remix)” with THEY. and “Save Room For Us (Remix)” with MAKJ, respectively.
“Die A Little Bit (Remix)” marks Tinashe’s second collaboration of 2020 with ZHU following “ONLY.”
Tinashe released her third LP Songs For You independently back in 2019 to critical acclaim.
