This year’s hot summer nights are in good hands, thanks to Summer Walker and her newest project Life On Earth.
It doesn’t hurt that she is backed by London On Da Track on all five tracks for songwriting and production. Walker also relies on other frequent collaborators like Aubrey Robinson, Kendall Roark Bailey and Kevin Robinson to help narrate her mellow and candid moods on street romance.
“SWV” is a sensual moment that Walker shares with NO1-NOAH. It also is an ode to the R&B trio that cemented their spot in music in the ‘90s. Another highlight on Life On Earth is the acoustic-tinged closer “Deeper.”
NO1-NOAH makes a second appearance on the clean “White Tee,” while PARTYNEXTDOOR shows up on the flowing “My Affection.”
Life On Earth is the first project from Walker since the release of her platinum-selling debut album Over It.
The EP follows her string of collaborations: “Eleven (Remix)” featuring Khalid and “Back Home” with Trey Songz.
