Mahalia has picked the perfect duet partner for her long-distance love track “BRB.”
Pink Sweat$ contributes his dream-pop cadence to the tune that originally appeared on her Isolation Tapes EP, which was released earlier this year.
The English singer croons gloomily about a relationship that is feeling the strain of time apart. While she’s focused on her music career, she’s still optimistic that she and her partner can make it work if they continue to practice patience and love each other from afar.
Sweat$ is having a hard time grasping the concept of being alone, singing, “I need you home / I want you most / I want you close / I need you close, I do.”

As for Sweat$, he recently released The Prelude EP. It serves as a holdover project until he issues his debut album via Atlantic Records later this year.
