Emerging vocalist Joy Denalane is reaching new peaks with the release of her single and video “Top Of My Love.”
The song’s visual was shot live at the Metropol Berlin and features the singer-songwriter jamming out to the single’s title track with a socially-distanced band.
Co-written by Denalane, “Top Of My Love” sees the soulful artist singing of “taking the road less traveled” in order to find what truly makes her happy.
“Cause I walked a lonely, lonely road / Through the whispers I held on to my own / Through the days and the night / Never let it out my sight / I climbed to the top of my love,” she belts on the track.
Comprising of three new tracks, “Top Of My Love,” “Put In Work,” and “I Believe” with BJ The Chicago Kid, Denalane sends messages of self-love in her latest work.
“Self-doubt and loneliness are not acceptable for the protagonist in the long run”, says Joy on “Top Of My Love,” she says about the single.
All three tracks are lifted from the German singer’s upcoming album Let Yourself Be Loved, set to be released on September 4 via Motown Records.
