Mýa is answering to no one on her new single “I’ma Do It.”
Over a snarling bass and finger snaps, this bossy track hears the Grammy-winning superstar is a saucy mood all because she can. She makes no promises to behave here, deciding only to rock to the beat of her own drum.
“I’ma Do It” is Mýa’s fourth song to release this year. She previously dropped the level-headed anthem “I Deserve,” the Louis York-crafted “Space and Time,” and the intoxicating sequel to “You Got Me.”
Mýa’s last album T.K.O. (The Knock Out) was released back in 2018.
