The Malik Pendleton-written track appeared on Blige’s third studio album, Share My World. “Seven Days,” served as the LP’s final single and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart.
In February, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will appear alongside Angela Bassett in the Lifetime original movie Betty and Coretta. The double biopic follows the lives of Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz after the deaths of their husbands, Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.
