The Bad Boy of R&B graced us with our Throwback Thursday song of the week, “Emotional.” This sizzling No. 8 hit on the R&B charts was released in 2000 off his debut album Emotional, which was certified platinum with over one million in sales.
The sultry music video for the single failed to disappoint and brought the ballad to life. It was one of his best and sexiest videos, matching our Throwback Thursday theme for the month of July, “Sexiest R&B Videos.”
The sexy video transcends back and forth between a sexy all-white summer look and an all-black steamy look near cool water capturing close-up shots of Thomas and no other than the beautiful Stacey Dash sporting a wet, sultry hair look. As if that isn’t sexy enough, the two sultry entertainers remain close, holding each other throughout the video as if they could almost breathe each other’s air as Thomas sings, “I’m emotional and I can’t let go, I am trying to hold on to you, though it hurts me so gotta let you know, that the love we once shared now is through.”
