Queen Latifah wasn’t the only musical royalty on her daytime show Thursday. R&B icon Patti LaBelle shared her musical presence with the “Queen Latifah Show” audience to perform “If You Only Knew.”
Giving us a Cleopatra black bob hairstyle, the nearly 70-year-old legend’s voice echoed around the building as it did when she first performed the song back in the early ’80s. She even added some fresh new words to compliment the occasion of being on Latifah’s new talk show.
It’s always good to see living legends still command a room full of fans who grew up listening to their music.

The R&B icon shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent interview with PrideSource.com, she revealed she’s working on not one but three new albums. “I’m working on a jazz CD that should be out this year, and then not only that, darling, but simultaneously I’ll be doing a dance album and an album of ballads.”
