Chris Brown hooks up with Rick Ross for his new song “New Flame.”
On the mid-tempo track, Brown tries to win over a girl he meets at a club. “Can’t believe you came here all alone, baby girl where’s your lover/ It don’t really matter ’cause I only want to get to know you better,” Brown sings in the second verse.
Meanwhile, Ross approaches the situation differently with lyrics about materialistic things and how much of a boss he is. “Baby, I’m a boss, I’m talking George Steinbrenner / Panamera, Yogi Berra, my two-seater Derek Jeter/ Got more stripes than all these n*ggas/Babe Ruth ballin’ in the Beamer,” he raps.
Brown is expected to release his highly awaited album “X” on May 5.
