R&B/soul songstress Avery*Sunshine has released “Call My Name” as the first single off her upcoming sophomore album “The Sunroom.”

On the passionate track, Sunshine feels the symptoms of her rocky relationship and asks her mate, “When was the last time you heard me call you sweet darling?/and when was the last time I heard you say, ‘hey baby’?”

“The Sunroom,” serves as the follow-up to her 2010 self-titled release. The new album will take Sunshine’s soulful vocals and blend it with uptempo tracks, ballads and gospel tracks.

To her promote her album due on May 27, the Chester, Pa. native will travel across nation for her soulful tour. She will also take the stage at local Wal-Mart stores for the “Road to ESSENCE Festival” tour, which kicked off last Saturday (April 26).
