R&B veteran Kelis made an appearance on “Late Show with David Letterman” to promote her new album “Food,” which was released on April 22.
Donning floral bell bottom pants and a white shirt, the creative singer performed her latest single “Jerk Ribs” in front of the live audience.
In an interview with The Coveteur, Kelis shared her inspiration behind her “Food” album. ” ‘Food’ is an album that I’ve always wanted to make, and working along Dave A. Sitek (producer) was a true joy. Life, love, and music are the inspirations behind my music.”
