The cheerful Pharrell Williams spreads happiness on the SNL show this past Saturday (April 5) performing his hits “Happy” and “Marilyn Monroe” from his second solo album “G I R L.”
These days Williams needs no introduction. The vibrant and vivacious musician slid his talents right in making himself at home on the SNL stage as the crowd received him well as the evening’s musical guest. Williams was joined on stage by two exuberant background vocalists, a lively band and a massive group of bubbly kids all sharing the ‘Happy’ spirit.

After his happy train, Williams cruised right along performing “Marilyn Monroe” where he was joined by famous composer Hans Zimmer and an all-G I R L musical orchestra. The smooth crooner described his desire for a different girl as he and his label i am OTHER believe that, “what makes you different, makes you special.”
