R&B/soul singer Shaliek releases an emotional visual for his track “Ain’t Supposed to Cry” from his upcoming album “Blood Sweat Tears” due in stores May 27.
The indie artist puts down his walls and his pride to plead his case as he gets caught up living a double life. He dismisses the unwritten rule that forbids men from crying or showing any emotional mannerism and does what he has to do to save face. With bones piling up in his closet, he has no other choice.
“Yea I might be the problem, I know that I’ve been holding back, If I just kept it 100, then I know that this would last,” confesses the singer.
Shaliek opens up as if a doctor told him to say “ahh” and channels his inner weakness hoping that his women doesn’t think anything less of him. He’s ready to suck it up and come clean about everything, “even if it means a brand new start.”
Watch Shaliek plead his case below and see if he is forgiven or sent packing.
