Brave Williams, former member of girl group RichGirl, releases a new solo effort ‘Oooh (Luv Ya).’
RichGirl may have not worked out as planned, but there’s still hope after a less than successful group. Take for example, co-ex-member Sevyn Streeter who has had great success and has made a heck of a solo career thus far. As Williams steps on the solo scene, we’re sure that she doesn’t want any comparisons and wants to be accepted as her own artist.
Williams delivers an interesting track that is quite feisty and catchy to the ear. The singer creatively incorporates McDonald’s theme phrase “ba-ba-ba-ba-ba I’m loving it,” giving it its own twist in part of the song. Who would have thought fast food and music would make such an intriguing combination?
The three-minute track also includes a sample of Blackstreet’s 2003 hit “Ooh Girl.” The spunky track that expresses how much she loves to love her lover, sounds like it could be a summer anthem across the airwaves.
