R&B music will be well-represented this year at the 2014 BET Awards.
Usher, Pharrell Williams, Trey Songz, Jennifer Hudson, Adrian Marcel, and Lionel Richie are among the first performers to be announced.
Beyonce, Williams and August Alsina lead with the most nominations. Bey has been nominated for five awards. Meanwhile, Williams and Alsina are tied with four nominations.

Additionally, Richie will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hosted by Chris Rock, the 2014 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 29 from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live promptly at 8pm EST. Stay tuned as more performers will be announced at a later date.
